This season looks like it will be another successful one for the club, with 11 junior teams taking part in the Tynedale Mini Soccer, Northumberland Football and North East Football Leagues.  We have over 20 fully qualified FA Level 1 & 2 coaches and with the usual support team behind them to hopefully provide great learning and playing environments for all our players.  Our 2 senior teams will also be playing again this season and we hope to keep everyone updated with progress across the club on a more regular basis through our social media channels.

Haydon Bridge United FC is a unique club in the grassroots football community, we own our own grounds and as such, we make every effort to ensure that we keep the playing fees as low as possible each season.  This past year we have all seen an increase in the cost of living and energy prices in particular, I’m sure it’s no surprise that the club has seen a significant increase in its running costs as well.

For the 2023/24 season however, the club has agreed to limit the increase in annual fees to a £10 increase, which brings our annual fee up to £100 for the season.  This includes all league and player registrations, referee’s fees, player insurance etc.  We are also retaining the 50% sibling discount for second and subsequent players from the same family, which was introduced last season.  For players joining the club for training only, there will be a one-off charge of £50 for the season which will include all training sessions and player insurance cover.

Ideally the club would prefer full payment of the club’s fees at the earliest opportunity.  We are aware, however, that with increases in the cost of living, not everyone has £100 spare at the moment.  So, we would request that a minimum payment of £50 is paid before the end of August, with the remaining £50 paid as one additional payment or as two £25 payments in September and October.  All fees must be paid in full by the end of October.
